Privacy notice
Marrow March, the game and this website. Last updated: 25 September 2026.
Who we are
Marrow March is made by Enes, an independent developer, who is responsible for the data described here. Contact: marrowmarch@gmail.com.
The short version
The game works fully without sending anything. If, and only if, you choose Share stats on the card the game shows at first launch, it sends anonymous play statistics so we can see where the game is too hard, too slow or confusing. No name, no email, no account, no advertising profile. You can say no, and you can change your answer later in the game's Settings.
This website
marrowmarch.com and play.marrowmarch.com are served by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. We count visits to this website with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not follow you across other sites. This website sets no cookies.
What the game sends, with your consent
- A random identifier created on your device when you say yes. It is not linked to your name or account, and it is deleted from your device if you withdraw consent.
- A random identifier for each launch of the game.
- Game events: tutorial steps, assaults started, cleared and lost, ages cleared, the wall being breached, levels reached, parts of the game unlocked, Essence Tree purchases, retreats, the ending.
- Active play time (only while the game is visible and in use).
- The platform and game version, your browser's language setting and time zone.
We do not collect your name, email, precise location, contacts, or anything from outside the game.
Why, and on what basis
To improve the game: balance, difficulty, the tutorial, and where players stop playing. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); for players in Türkiye, explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5). You can withdraw it at any time in the game's Settings; withdrawing does not affect what was sent before.
Where it goes and for how long
Statistics are processed for us by PostHog, Inc., an analytics service, on servers in the United States. IP addresses are not stored with the statistics. Raw events are kept for at most 13 months and then deleted; totals (for example "how many players cleared the first age") may be kept longer, since they describe no one.
Your rights
You can ask to see or delete the statistics tied to your random identifier, or object to their use, by writing to marrowmarch@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the KVKK Board).
Saves and settings
Your saves and settings stay on your device, in the browser's storage (or in the portal's own save storage where a portal provides one). We never receive them.
Children
Marrow March is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
